Japanese enameled terra cotta figure of shaven-headed seated figure with a Japanese appearing face. No mark. Very minor chipping and glaze loss. 15 Inches tall. Circa 19th century or earlier.
Japanese wooden rice measuring box used by small merchants before use of modern plastic bags. Japanese characters on all 4 sides and god figures on one side. Dovetailing at corners and metal bands. 2 1/2 inches high and 5 1/2 inches wide on the four sides.
